We ask thoughtful questions about forgotten details and clarify every aspect to ensure your story is told with complete accuracy.
STORY DEVELOPMENT & SCRIPTWRITING
Our writers transform your story into a compelling narrative structure. We craft your notes into a professional script with character development, plot structure, and emotional arc.
We break down your journey into chapters, identify key visual moments, and create the narrative flow. Every detail is reviewed and refined to ensure accuracy and authenticity. The script includes panel descriptions, dialogue, pacing notes, and scene breakdowns. You receive the initial script for approval and we incorporate any revisions before moving forward.
CHARACTER DESIGN & APPROVAL (YOUR ONLY PREVIEW)
Using your photos as reference, our artists create detailed character designs capturing your likeness, personality, and essence in your chosen illustration style. This is your only opportunity to review before final delivery.
We develop 360-degree character designs using advanced illustration technology combined with traditional artistic expertise. You'll receive multiple angles of each main character, expression sheets showing different emotions, outfit variations for different scenes, and side-by-side comparisons with your submitted photos. You can request up to 2 rounds of revisions to ensure we've captured your likeness perfectly. Once you approve the character designs, we proceed with full illustration—no further previews until your finished book arrives.
ARTISTIC CREATION (THE SURPRISE)
This is where the magic happens. Using your approved character designs and script, our artists create every scene of your graphic novel. We intentionally keep this phase mysterious to preserve the element of surprise.
After character approval, we don't share previews or allow revisions—this ensures your first full experience of the book is as magical and surprising as opening a gift. Behind the scenes, we're illustrating each scene according to the approved script, creating beautiful backgrounds from your location photos, designing dynamic panel layouts for visual storytelling, adding speech bubbles and narrative text, and ensuring consistency across every page. You'll receive confirmation that illustration has begun and timeline updates, but the magic happens behind closed curtains for maximum impact when you open your finished book.
PRODUCTION & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Once illustration is complete, your book moves into production. This is when your digital artwork becomes a physical heirloom that will last for generations.
Your book is being physically created with meticulous attention to every detail. Professional printing on archival paper, precision binding in your chosen material, quality control inspection, and careful packaging for shipment. Cover personalization is applied, multiple quality inspections occur, and tracking information is prepared. Each collection receives specialized treatment—from professional binding for Signature and Premium to hand-binding by master bookbinders for Heirloom using traditional craftsmanship techniques.
DELIVERY & CELEBRATION
